This decade was one of ‘changeover’ from cassettes & LPs to CDs, although the two former formats lingered for a few more years. Surprisingly, on occasions, 8 track cartridge versions were still being released. Proposed new series under the titles of NEW WUNDERLICH POPS and POP ORGAN HIT PARTY were never pursued, perhaps due to the uncertainty of contract changes. Telefunken having not renewed his contract, he first went with EMI and recorded under their ODEON label: then the German ARIOLA label and the decade ended with an equally short association with POLYDOR.
